Landis loses his latest doping-suspension appeal (Houston Chronicle)

Floyd Landis took an apparent called third strike Monday, and it cost him at least another $100,000. The American rider who finished first in the 2006 Tour de France, seemingly inheriting the famed yellow jersey from former U.S. Postal Service teammate and seven-time champion Lance Armstrong, has lost his latest bid to retain cycling's most prized title.
