It's always hard to leave the Lowcountry for a weekend this time of year. The weather usually is impeccable, and there's so much fun stuff to do. You can have a string of action-packed weekends in a row without leaving a 10-mile radius of your house. Yet, because we're so used to the midspring hoopla here, few weekends are truly memorable. All that fun just fades together over time.
