Following is a list of athletes from area high schools who have gone on to play sports in college. The Advance welcomes information about other current college athletes who graduated from one of these schools and whose name has been omitted.

Tis the season for popcorn (and chipmunks, and a viral apocalypse, and pregnant teens)…and "Jingle Bells" may have never sounded so sweet to Hollywood, unless you had slathered it in sunscreen and called it Memorial Day weekend.

Many tears were shed during 2007, some of them happy but many of them in sadness as area residents mourned the loss of pillars of the community and reflected on murderous mysteries.
